B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
This is the foremost Ayurved College in Maharashtra where the medium of instruction is English with an intake capacity of 100 students. Duration: 5.5 years
Affiliation: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik
Intake: 100
Duration: 4.5 for theory + 1 year Internship.
Eligibility criteria for admission to First year of Degree course in B.A.M.S:
1.Candidates are required to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with science subjects ( Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English core in both Class 11 and 12 from a recognised board..
2.He/she should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or as on 31st December, 2019 .
3.An aspirant from general category needs to secure an aggregate of 50% in their Class 12 Board examination. While, for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentage is 40%
4.Candidates need to have qualified NEET 2020 by securing minimum qualifying cutoff percentile to get admission in BAMS course.
5.For foreign students any other equivalent qualification approved by the University will be allowed.
BAMS Admission Process:
Admission to BAMS courses will be taken on the basis of NEET UG score and the corresponding rank. therefore , candidates are required to qualify NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). In order to take admission to BAMS course, candidates are required to secure NEET cutoff 2020 percentile.
